10-20 exhaust manifold

on the manifold there are two removalble plates one above the carb,a square one and and down on the side by the exhaust outlet,a round one, both plates have a baffle of some kind, looks like it is used to direct the exhaust , what i need to know is the correct way to install them. if any one can help, let me know, they were off at the time when i got the tractor thanks stanley.
