if you set the wheels all the way out you will have a very stable machine.Too many to count were sold in WV with sickles for this reason. I have dual wheels on mine with the front wheels set in to 40". It will go on a hillside where I can't walk across, if too steep the oil pressure drops and then the tractor slides will not tip even running over tree roots. It is what I would use for a ditch, or else get an older Gravely l model 30" deck with duals or triples and a steering sulky not a riding sulky.
