I have worked on several F-12's and finally saw my first gas model last Sunday. It is a 1934 model and I noted with interest some of the differences. 1. The exhaust comes off of the manifold ahead of the carb instead of beside it (I am guessing that this is due to the fact that there is no butterfly to hold heat in the engine). 2. there is a hole for a dip-stick and no try-cocks on the oil pan (this I assume is because there is no need to drain the unburned distilate off of the pan and therefore no need for try-cocks on the pan). These are just 2 of the differences that I noticed right off. Will be back up there MOnday and will take pics this time. Dan
