Bud: I think to some extent this may have depended on the dealer. I grew up in an area where a lot of heavy trailers were used and you go through that area today you will find a sizeable number of H, SH, 300, 350 and 460 with heavy drawbars. I think there were maybe numerous items IH might not have considered an option but an agressive dealer could find ways to turn them into just that. I know when I ordered those two drawbars it was long after the days of the H and M. It would have been late 1960s and my fast hitches were worn completely out I had a 656 and was using 3 point on it for any mounted equpment. They were ordered heavy and for 300 and 560, from IH dealer and both were identical when they arrived. If I remember correctly there was some difference in mounting to axle carriers. It was same mount but two ways to install, probably different holes. That was 35 years ago so am a bit rusty on this. One item you need remember on all H, M, the Supers, 300, 400, 350 and 450 is wheel base never changed and was same on them all even later the 4 cylinders tractors stayed 90" and 6 cylinders went to 96". That stayed until after heavier chassis 06, 56, 66, etc. which have 100" wheel base.

Since this can be extremely difficult, you may want to fabricate the item or purchase a modern replacement temporarily, but eventually, you s
