For starters, the torque converter went out on my Thunderbird, cost me $250 to replace myself! It would have been another $250 labor to have someone else do it. Took me and a friend about 7 hours to do it too. Secondly, I got a job working for a farmer and it didn't take long to get tired of the grease and dirt getting into my nice car - so I bought an 84 Ford Ranger with 57,000 miles on it. It needs some work (paint, tie rod ends, major tune up, etc.) Also, the W9 is still in the garage, in the way, and Mom would like to put her car back in someday. I found a head in Canada, waiting for a valve job to be done on it, then that goes back together... So that's why the H is on hold for now - it runs great and my 2-spool valve is handy for what we use it for. Live hydraulics can be a luxury for next year - I have all the parts, but not the time to set it up. Fabricating mounts, etc. will take a couple of days at least and I'm working on 2 different farms so I don't get much free time. I'll keep ya updated when I make progress...
