Lebanon had it's parade today, in spite of light rain. Some of the cars did not show, and some of the floats did not show, but most were there. We usually have 4 hay wagons full of veterans, but since it was raining earlier, the wagons got sent home, so the remaining veterans rode in our old cars. That is my son in law from indiana driving my cub, and my daughter and grandson in the trailer, with his stuffed farm animals. I drove the coupe just behind the cub, one son drove the black sedan that he came home from the hospital in after he was born, then my other son drove myh girlfriend's yellow pickup, then 2 friends in their cars. Thats a nice super H behind us, pulling a float. The veterans wagons are usually pulled by a beautiful unrestored original M. This was taken at the start of the parade, at the end of the town green. The fire department went just after the colors, then the selectmen, then us, then the rest of the parade. The first selectman is a veteran, and when asked about canceling the parade because of rain, he said, we didn;t cancel the war when it rained when I was in.
