Finally, something I can help with. I just went through this with my 350 Utility. Getting the gas tank off was a real bear of a job, but I wanted to do it right so I would never have to do it again. In case you have never heard of it, I used a product called Kreem to clean and seal the tank. It has a phosphoric acid solution that you leave in the tank for a couple of days to etch the steel clean then a paint like solution that looks like cream (maybe where the name came from - ya' think) that you slosh around in the tank. Keep sloshing for a few hours until everything is well coated and no pockets of paint residue. Then let is harden for a couple of days. Here in Canada I was only able to find this at my local motorcycle speed shop, but I know in the US you can order it from JC Williams over the web. I think I heard a rumor that Pep Boys carry it too. I know a bunch of the folks on here say to bput nuts and bolts inside the tank and roll it around for a few hourse, but with all the baffles in my tank there was no way those were ever all coming back out so I just let it etch extra long. Hope this helps. Sean
