i had the same problem on my super w6 when i first purchased it.it would run fine unless i was really working it and sloshing the fuel around.then it would pop and sputter.but i just kept using the tractor and adding more fuel as required.eventually the bowl did not have any more sediment and now it runs beautifully and no more rust.maybe you can have an easy fix like i did .good luck
