My 140 and 240 do the same thing. I just charged it off as the flywheel effect of the input shaft. On these tractors, the input shaft and gears are mostly above the oil level. On tractors like the Famall H, the input shaft drives the lower shaft which is submersed on oil. The input shaft on the 240 does drive the oil slinger gear which is submersed and maybe a heavier oil would help provide more drag. I just idle mine down before putting it in gear.
