G’day Milton Thankyou for your help, unfortunately the serial number tag for my father’s crawler has been removed long time ago. However I was able to find the engine Serial Number TCBM2175T1T4, under three layers of paint, yellow, red and olive drab (original military colour ?) Other markings cast on engine are 1-3-4-2 (timing?), 8318-C and IHC symbol (right hand side of engine, centre of block) and 12 22L (right hand side of engine, rear of block). The crawler also has AWC32018 crudely welded to the right hand track step. Can any of this information help identify this crawler? The crawler is currently fitted with an Armstrong Holland cable (rear mounted winch) operated dozer blade. This blade was made in Australia. I have taken some photos of the crawler and I will post them on yesterday’s tractor website. Thanks, Ian Oxborrow, Queensland Australia

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
