Hi, My step father just gave me his Farmall H, it is a mid 51 model by the serial number, I have checked that here on ytmag`s chart. What I would like to know is, what does the X 1 F stand for at the end of the serial number ? This tractor has been in the family since new, it has the high speed 4th gear in it, Dad had always called it super fourth, was supposedly for rotary hoeing. I was wondering about the speed of the other gears, mainly 1st, thought that maybe it was a lower first gear. Can anyone tell me anything on these codes please ? Thanks guys !
