Roy: I think you are right. I farmed near a British imigrant farmer and yes that is the only time I ever heard that term. Not surprising though, just 55 years ago I started school in a one room school that took in 5 miles of rural road. We didn't know anyone in the next district, and our parrents knew very few. Here we are a half century later conversing around the world. Bloody great stuff, is technology. You will know where I picked that one up. When I was about 12 a new consolidated high school opened and took in 20-25 of these old one room schools. One of the first science teachers in that new school was an old Danish guy. He could pick out the accents from everyone of those former school districts. I'll bet he couldn't go there today and pick out their district accents. The old world is getting smaller. I remember not long after WW#2 a young lad in our neighborhood landing home with his new warbride. Today a space alien wouldn't attarct any more attention than that young lady did.
