Ok, then I'm sure this is a pitman. I just wasn't sure about the "ballanced head" term. On my mower the pitman pully is below and to the left of the PTO pully.

I have never been able to post jpg's to a server source and get the thing pointed right so as to allow you to see it. However I could e-mail you a couple if that's alright. I'll try to get a couple of descriptive shots of it tomorrow.
