Farmall 706 PTO

Dad and I just finished rebuilding the PTO on our 706. We have one question about how it works . . . Where does plate behind the clutch package get the hydraulic pressure to squeeze the plates together? We think the oil comes through the splines in the shaft, but we wanted to see if any of you know for sure. Thanks for the help!
