When I was talking to Brandon about this, he mentioned that there was a problem in production a couple years ago and a bunch of bad batches went out. They had to redesign how the retainer (?) fit. Anyways the new design has 3 dimples around the base of the new cap. So.. to keep in line with the previous policy in regards to the conditions of the settlement, they are re-issuing caps.
If you ordered a cap and got zero.. simply refile the request stating that you have never received a cap for your tractor and that you can prove ownership. They will send you a cap.
Brandon assured me of this when I talked to him before the changeover.
