Worst case scenario is the worm and sector are worn out. If your sector has a full 360 gear it can be spun 180 and reused if its a 3/4 gear replace it. The worm is almost always the problem and a salvage yard is the best bet. If your allowed to walk around find the H with the least amount of wear on the clutch peddle, thats normally the worm you want. In the meantime take the air from one tire or the other on the tricycle to 15 lbs or so and the road gear won't wobble so much. Hope this helps!
