Blackstripe 1066 for Parts

Looked at a Blackstripe 1066, It runs, but needs overhauled, turbo is bad, Shifters are loose, has cab, but is junk,tires are worn,but good,6400hours,3pt hitch wont stay up,not sure about the TA, sheetmetal is good,grille is missing,steering is a little loose,but works fine.I was thinking about buying it, taking off the cab,putting fenders on it,overhauling it,replacing the TA, and basically restoring it. My parts estimate that I came up with is at about $6000.00. What do you guys think that I should offer the guy,or should I stay away from the tractor? Thank-You!!!
