Kirk: I remember reading once that those systems were up graded in 52 through 55 somewhere. The item was rather vague. It seemed to be saying the systems with fast hitch had the upgrade. As you know the fast hitches on offsets have a spring assist to help hydraulics with the lift. If you have ever had one of those springs off you will realize they are quite a visious spring. My tractors a SA, 130 and 140 all have fast hitches now, however the SA does not have the spring assist. Now the only difference I can see is the SA will pickup the same load without the spring as others do with spring. I personally don't think the pump ever changed from the first C and SA in 1947 to the last 140 in 1979. There were changes in the touch control unit itself around 51 or 52
