I painted my SC rear rims this past weekend, using the Rustoleum Stainless Steel paint recommended by someone on this board. I was disappointed with the results. The paint contains a heavy metal flaking which does not apply evenly. They ended up with a lot of rough, shadowy spots on them, even after several coats. I had painted the front rims several months ago with regular brush-on barn tin silver paint, and they look pretty good. I'm going to try hitting the rear rims with some fine steel wool, and if that doesn't improve their appearance, I am going to brush over them with the barn tin silver paint.
