Yes all of the 2xxx IH are industrial versions. Yours is probably the industrial version of the IH 424. It will have a heavier duty front axle and a foot throttle that the std 424 will not have. The reverser tranny was an option on the industrial version. I have a 2444/industrial version 444. Not made by Oliver. It will be british IH however if the s/n begins with a B. The USA built ones s/n begins with a U. British built ones have Lucas Alt, etc. USA ones have Delco electrical stuff.
