I know you have an F-30, but try to locate the manual from IHC on rebuilding the Farmall Regular. It shows how to disassemble these tractors. The F-30 is similar in design to the F-20 and Regular. I have Xerox copies of mine I could mail to you. Lots of great info and actual pictures, including pictures of the tools they used back then. Email me and I will give you what ever help I can. I currently have my F-20 engine sitting in my garage waiting to be put back into my freshly painted frame. I went through my engine and replaced/rebuilt lots of it.
