6x1.75x8= 1.5 tons of stacked wood on a pick-up or 84 cu ft of stacked wood = 1.5 tons

taken in concideration space lost by stacking the wood I estimated the wood to weigh 2 tons per 84 cu ft.

283 cu ft of log divided by 84 cu ft of large pick-up x 2 ton per pick-up
