First of all--how the heck did you break the bottom roller??? The top one I could understand, but I guess accidents do happen and sometimes things like this just happen for no reason. Anyway, I guess I would start looking for a good repair shop, trust me--there are alot more out there that are prepared for this kind of thing than you realize. My Dad and my little brother have both broken rollers on their 241 big balers and it will surprise you on who can fix them and who even has them in stock. It might even surprise you on the price! The roller that normally breaks is at least $200-$300 fixed or for a replacement. Dads first mo-co was a Hesston PT-10 he bought with a broken roller and it cost $400 to replace it. I just mowed my first patch of alfalfa/lots of brome(what a b*tch!) this year this morning/afternoon and hope I never break a roller. I love my 990 no matter how old it is--it still does an excellent job and is cheap(er) and easy to work on. I guess what I would do if I was you is start by calling machine shops in your area or calling some neighbors that might know. Good luck!

It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
