This is a question that you have to balance based on the future use that you have in store for this tractor. If you are going to show it and not use it for regular work than rings and sleeve will probably get you by. However, if use it with a mower or some other work related operations than I would go through it. I have found it hard after I get an engine apart to not replace worn items when they are still available regardless of the future use. The time to tear it down and remove parts, clean everything up only to put it back together with the same worn parts can come back to haunt you later when you have problems and it has to be done over. That saying," pay on or pay late" can come true. I painted my A a few years back with some cheap tractor enamel only have to go back and repaint it now. The $125 a gallon paint I bought to do it over is going to be the cheapest part compared to the time I will spend to remove parts and clean, repaint and than reassemble.
