My uncle farmed with 2 504s and a Super C. One gas and one diesel 504. If I remember right, the gas 504 has the same bore and stroke as a standard farmall H. It gets the extra power from the higher compression and R.P.M.s. I think the H rpms are about 1650 and 504 rpms about 2400 rpms. He still has the gas 504 and Super C but he doesn't farm any more. Only bad thing with the 504 is IH didn't use sleves in the block so if you replace the pistons you have to bore the block.
