Micheal: Like the others I rather doubt it is water pump. First unless it has been added the SA didn't have a water pump, and secondly when those water pumps go they do get noisey but it is so gradual you don't notice until the coolant starts coming out around shaft. Now if your large fan belt goes around three pulleys you indeed do have water pump, however if is just around the crank pulley and the fan pulley you don't have a water pump. The water pump when those tractors have one is situated almost directly below the generator but driven by the main belt as opposed to the generator belt. If you don't have a pump follow what Sam and Scotty have told you. If you do have a water pump and determine that is the problem go for a rebuilt pump as opposed to a kit. The kit will be close to the same money and believe me you will not be paid very well for installing the kit. Somewhere in the order of 25 cents per hour.
