Fair price for 300 w/ WFE and loader?

Neighbor has a 300 for sale, has wfe and loader - quick drive by shows metal to be in fair shape at best - called the neighbor, said brakes are weak, does not have power steering, no smoke at start up or under load, he did not know what TA was - he is new hobby farmer - asking 1500 but willing to talk - located in SW Wisconsin - wondering what everyone feels would be a fair price - I am on the fence as I dont really need it, enjoy my H alot.
