KB: Just checked the C-123 in the 140 was sleeved until the end. Also the C-135 but I doubt it was used after the 404. So you are saying 460, 560, 606, 656, 706 and 756 gassers were sleeved engines. I didn't know that. Once they started using 6 cylinders there weren't many gassers came to Canada as at that time we were paying 40% more for fuel than you were. We cosied up to the diesels quite quickly. I personally have seen one 460 gas. I have never seen any gas versions of the others.
