Both of the old M tractors I found with water in the oil had the same problem. Apparently, the cylinder had a crack or pinhole. The sleeve didn't fit quite tight enough and a drop of water fell about once a minute from the bottom around the liner. That's been about fiftenn plus years ago. A little stop leak and I still see both of them operating on a regular basis, Adjust your price accordingly, then, also, pull the valve cover and watch for beads around the rocker arms.
