Actually in this case it was the service brakes. The parking brake was long gone when he got the tractor. I had the transmission open this winter to replace a broken shift arm, and replaced the parking brake, AND the indicator. He probably won't use the parking brake anyway, just plant the bucket to hold it, but when I use the thing I like to have a real parking brake.
