I just wanted to add that a lot of that type of brakes that I have done were also covered with oil from leaky seals and that will sure mess them up. At the dealer we always steamed off and sandblasted all the metal parts except the balls then put high temp antiseeze on them when reassembling. There is a big o ring and a shaft seal in there if I remember right. Or was it a double seal? I think mine is but it has been a while. New springs and pads are available from the dealer and I would recommend replacing them if you can due to it's age if nothing else.
