Good for you! I went through the same experience Memorial Day weekend. I had put off painting my Super C restoration until I had run out of anything else to do. I had seen painting done before, but had never done it myself. I really amazed myself at what a great job I did! Make sure you get several good coats of paint on that sheet metal. Good luck with the rest. Post some pictures.
