Rich: Thanks for bringing this subject up and many thanks to Bob M and Jere for the great history lesson. I have one question, how did the WD-40 and WD-9 compare in horse power. I remember a contractor doing land clearing and leveling in our area and using both the TD-14 as well as the TD-9. I am talking early 50s and these machines were equiped with Bucyrus-Erie dozer blades. I notice in the book 150 Years of IH 9 was around 46 belt hp and 14 was around 61 belt hp. I remember these machines working on dozer work and having termendous torque for their rpm.
