I am a service technician for a Case-IH dealer in Highmore, South dakota. I am 28 years old. Work on about anything Case-IH makes(Steigers, Quadtracs, Axial-Flow combines, Magnums, Maxxums) as well as older IH stuff(I still consider CASE a 4-letter word sometimes). Don't have any tractors of my own, but grew up on a farm with a 1086, 706D, 400 gas, & the M. Dad had EVERYTHING IH(even a 1973 1210 IH pickup). Am very interested in the history of International Harvester(enjoy Guy Fay's posts as well as Ken Updike's), learning more about the "glory years" as well as the demise of a once great company. Even though I'm only 28, I still yearn for the days when I was a young boy going with Dad to the IH dealer in town almost daily.
