Steve: Fudd is right you need a test light probably meter to see where and how much voltage you have. It may well be the coil and if so you may just try to start now that it has cooled down. If it fires right up now, I would say yes to coil. Coil could be bad even if it doesn't fire up, One other possibility is distributor shaft, is it loose in distributor. My Super A had end play in distributor shaft, every once in awhile it would just stop. Usually this happened on a bump, steep incline, etc. I took my distributor to CaseIH dealer and they fixed it. I understand these don't have bushings from new, but repairs are done by machining and adding a bushing. It worked, I haven't had a problem in 6-7 years.
