Mow, I went through that exercise about 3 years ago. Looked a Land Pride, JD, Woods and Kioti -- which is what the local dealers had. Farmall Don's price on the Woods sounds good, our local guy was about 150 to 200 more. The Land Pride and JD were close to 500 more. I finally settled on a King Kutter from TSC -- on sale for 1049.00. Haven't managed to break anything on it yet, and my view is that if I totally trash it, buying another new one would still be less than the Land Pride or JD. Usually do ~6 acres a week with it. It's side chute, and does a nice job; but go for the bush hog if the grass gets too high. The Woods, Land Pride, etc are all better quality -- I might see the difference in quality in 10 to 15 years, then again; by that time I might be pushing up grass instead of mowing it. You pays your money and takes your chances. Such is life.

I’m par
