Jimmy: To bad we couldn't give those guys eternal life. I have seen the old IH parts guy I dealt with for years, stand back and tell four separate farmers what options they had on their No. 60 trailer plows. Many many time I have stood at the counter, only to have him tell me my 560 had a 17 gallon hydraulic pump, or there was a check valve on rear hydraulic outlet of 656. I swear this guy had this all in his head, rarely have I seen him go to book other than to check part number. I sincerely hope these guys were well paid. I often wonder what they have nightmares about. I still wake up calculating how much N P or K is on my corn, or how much milk cow x gave and it's been 15 years.
