I found a NOS IH rad still in the box for my 10-20 and it was black.. If you paint it use a spray can of flat black and put it on THIN. Thick paint will tend to insulate it and not let heat transfer as well. High heat paint isn't nessesary, the rad shouldn't get that hot.
