I had a 544 gas farmall onced I swapped a Super M for it major mistake. When a rod went through the side of the block I also considered putting a diesel engine in it after talking to several people decided not to found a block, rebuilt it used it for a while longer, had a ford loader on it it was a 1968. Bought a 706 with the 310Ger engine a 1967 with a Great Bend 800 loader on it sold the 544 and loader not counting the overhaul was out about $100. I would look around for a 756D if I were you.
