I have mowed with cubs and a super A, and i'll tell you my opinion... the cub is not enough tractor to run the mower decks that are put under them. I have run cubs with fresh engines with oversized pistons, and i still feel this way. I just bought a super A, and I am not at all sorry. This tractor will mow anything from the back forty, to the 18 green. Just my 2 cents.
