I'm filling the radiator to the top, just below the overflow and the cap. My service manual says the cooling system holds 13 quarts, and after running 1 to 2 hrs, it's lost as much as a gallon. The bulk of the water comes out as soon as the engine heats up to what I would say is normal operating temperature (there's no guage). Also, water comes out when traveling downhill. When I bought the tractor, it had a pressure cap on the radiator, but I replaced it with a flat cap like I've seen on other cubs. Should I use a pressure cap?
