Tommy: No reason why you couldn't install a char- lynn on the steering shaft same as they did on M, 300, 400, etc. The problem would be suppling it with power. I don't think that small volume pump would do it. May steer fine until you use the other hydraulic controls, then something will run shy of oil. If you could find the right power steering pump and mount just above generator and find a belt to go around fan, generator and power steering pump. I have been looking and I think you could find a pump from newer front wheel drive cars. Of course you would need to know volumes. Whether you can find a pump to fit in there without making changes to sheet metal is the question. It would be neat though.
