Back in the mid 60s my FIL put a Corvair turbo on his pullin 'H'. It worked Great but only because the engine had ben Balanced aand stroked and race cam and single tube intake and exaust and would turn 5000 RPMs. If you cannot get high RPMs you get nothing from the turbo.
