As for the rear end problems, if after 45+ years of use its still working I don't think you going to have to worry about it now. As for power and use it is much more comparable to a M then a H. I see you are talking about a gas model, it is going to seem kind of fuel hungry. If it runs as well as it looks the price is actually extremely good. Most of the ones I see sell in Kansas go for $2500 to $3500. I have never seen one sell that had been refurbished.
