I have a 460 gas also and love it. It is used mostly as a loader tractor, but also runs a fast hitch blade once in a while. It starts instantly everytime and has been the best running tractor I've ever had. My TA is out, but who's isn't! If the one you are looking at is out, it still can be used on the high side (lever forward) as mine has been for 10+ years. As the last guy said, if the rearend hasn't failed yet, it's not going to. If you plan on pulling the tractor really hard, then maybe I'd be concerned but otherwise it is just a 40 year old problem that the image of the 460/560 tractors can't seem to shake off. I'd say the price is pretty good, but you won't know for sure until you hear it run. As a loader tractor, fuel consumption is average for a tractor of that horsepower and size. Good luck
