Lot's of discussions on this in the archives, the last consensus, but I'm sure not the final was 15w-40 all year around. I get only about a 100 hours per year on my main tractor, certainly not enough to warrant changing oil twice a year. Besides, the mfg'r of my MF says 15w-40
