I agree with what Jim E. said in the post below. What's happening is this- You bleed the air out, run the tractor, as the fuel in the filters gets burned the restricton in the bottom of the tank keeps fuel from flowing to the filters, she airlocks and dies. It's a common problem on older tractors. Carry some tools with you and the next time it happens, take the line from the tank to the filters loose, and see how well the fuel is flowing. Not sure if 606 had it, but some of the bigger tractors built in the late '60's had a check valve in the line to the filters that could cause some strange problems. Good luck, and let us know what you find!
