Hi Scotty – I’ve replaced a bunch of transmission/axle/brake shaft seals on my Farmalls and my MM “U”. Everything I’ve purchased thru Kaman has been the new, thinner viton(?) type. Seals have always fit and worked perfectly. Nice thing about the thinner seals is you can position them in the counterbore so the seal lip rides on an unworn section of the shaft – nice when the original seal has worn a significant groove into the shaft. Note – One the couple of times I bought seals from C-IH, they’ve also been the new style. I kinda doubt anyone makes the old-style leather seals anymore. …Bob M
