You have to take the drive coupler off the countershaft and then the seal retainer and then the bearing carrier. Then there is a snap ring on the back of the counter shaft and then it should come out if my my memory serves me correctly. Don't spend to much time or money though, sometimes you can have alittle patience and buy a whole rearend from a junk yard and switch out the whole thing for around 200.00 plus your time...
