Thanks for your post, Marvin. An entertaining alternative to the sometimes mundane, yet helpful, posts that we are accustomed to. My Bio: Age: 38 Tractor: '41 Ford 9N Occupation: Systems (Computer) Analyst/Programmer Location: Southern 'Thumb' of Michigan My family 'escaped' the perfectly manicured lawn, boom box blasting, traffic congested, strip mall infested, life of Detroit Suburbia last Fall. We moved to a rural community (where there is actually a feeling of community), where we built a house on eight acres. I have used the Ford for snow removal (about 800' of driveway), earth moving, boulder lifting, driveway raking, shallow trench digging, and just, landscaping in general. I have a rear blade, dirt scoop, landscape rake, middlebuster, spring-tooth harrow, and a homemade chain-link drag for implements. I will allow that the lack of live Hydraulics and PTO (although, I have yet to use it), is an inconvenience. However, the 9N's Hydraulic system is much stronger than mine. I have worked this tractor continuously for the past eight months, and aside for some minor electrical problems, it has not let me down. Some of the best money I have ever spent. Thanks Eric
